Helping restore balance by providing an individualized, root cause approach to health
I’m Dr. Michael Haun, a chiropractic physician, who strives to get to the root cause of the health problems so many people are struggling with today. Masking pain and other health dysfunctions with prescription or over the counter drugs is not the answer as it does not give true resolution. Through chiropractic care, rehabilitative exercises, lifestyle changes, and nutritional support, most people will find relief from pain and other health dysfunctions.
I provide care for people of all ages from newborns to adults. I am passionate about supporting my patients with holistic care that includes chiropractic adjustments and recommendations for rehabilitative exercises, stretching, nutrition, supplementation, and lifestyle modification.
To assist with providing holistic care, I utilize lab tests such as lipid panels, metabolic panels, thyroid panels, and others to assess health. Specialized laboratory tests can also be used to address patient health needs such as gut microbiome health, food intolerances, hormones, nutrient levels, organic acids, and other health markers. Many of these tests are not normally ordered by your typical medical practitioner. They can give deep insights into your health status which can lead to real actionable steps to improve your health.
A new patient appointment can last between forty-five minutes to an hour. Appointments can be scheduled by phone or by using my online booking site. A new patient chiropractic appointment includes case history, musculoskeletal, spinal, and extremities analysis. Most patients will receive an adjustment at that first visit as long as there are no contraindications. X-rays are not normally required but may be ordered if needed. Follow up appointments usually last no more than fifteen minutes. I do not require my patients to sign on to chiropractic care plans so there are no big upfront costs. Visits are pay as you come. I will make recommendations for the timeframe of your next visit but ultimately it is the patient’s decision when and how often to receive chiropractic care. I use several chiropractic techniques in my practice for analysis and adjustments. These include Webster (certified), Thompson, Gonstead, diversified, upper cervical toggle, and Logan basic.
Appointments can also be made for health and nutrition counseling. A new patient appointment can be conducted in person or remotely, either by phone or video call, and can last about forty-five minutes. A new patient health and nutrition appointment includes a consultation covering patient history and a thorough discussion about health concerns and goals. Follow up appointments usually last no more than thirty minutes.
